Every culture independently encodes the same processing tree. The names change. The position does not.
ABSENT from surviving Norse sources. The dominant Norse mythological numbers are 3 (Norns, Odin/Vili/Vé), 9 (worlds of Yggdrasil), 12 (principal Aesir), 24 (Elder Futhark runes), and 8 (Sleipnir's legs, Draupnir's copies). 42 does not appear as an explicit enumerated set. The closest structural parallel: 24 runes + 9 worlds + 9 nights on the tree = 42 — the sum of the framework's own encoding units. This strongly suggests the 42 was embedded in the structural architecture rather than preserved as a numbered list. Egyptian Spell 125 preserves the explicit 42 negative confessions. The Norse equivalent was encoded, not enumerated.
ABSENT as an explicit enumerated set from surviving Norse sources. Attested barriers: Gjallarbrú — the bridge over the river Gjöll, guarded by Móðguðr, crossed by Hermóðr riding to Hel. Helgrind — the gate of Hel. Náströnd — the shore of corpses where Níðhöggr feeds. The 9 worlds provide 8 transitions (the spaces between realms) plus the crown (the observer) = 9, but not 7. The 7-gate sequence enters Norse tradition through the inverted form: the 7 deadly sins deployed during Christianisation of Scandinavia. Egyptian Amduat preserves the complete 7-gate sequence. The Norse conserved the gatekeeper (Móðguðr) but lost the enumeration of the gates.
Ragnarök
Surtr's fire burns false branches. Yggdrasil survives.
The 12-phase cycle is the universal timing mechanic shared across all 24 cultures. It manifests as: zodiac (12 signs), months (12 lunar), tribes (12 of Israel), imams (12 in Shi'a), Olympians (12), knights (12 Round Table), labors (12 of Heracles). Each culture encodes the same 12-step frequency cycle using its own symbolic vocabulary. The Damaru drum (Vedic) explicitly encodes it as "Creates and destroys."
Surtr's fire burns false branches. Yggdrasil survives.
Elder Futhark — 24 runes, 3 ættir.
Christian conversion ~800-1200 CE. Latin imposed. Rune masters executed.
PARTIAL. ~6,000 runestones. Living chain broken ~1910.
PARTIALLunar mansion data not documented in this framework's surviving records. Only two cultures explicitly enumerate the 28 lunar mansions: Vedic (28 Nakṣatras) and Chinese (28 Xiù). All others hint at it through practice.
