Suppression History

Language death ~1800 BCE. Akkadian replaced Sumerian as spoken language. Sumerian survived as liturgical and scholarly language (like medieval Latin). The last native speaker died before Abraham.

Recoverability

PARTIAL. Fully deciphered. Massive tablet archives. No living speakers. Base-60 system survives in time (60 seconds, 60 minutes) and angle (360 degrees) measurement.

3.5% Seed: Nammu — primordial sea. The undifferentiated waters from which An (heaven) and Ki (earth) emerged. The initial symmetry before distinction.

The Record: Nisaba — goddess of writing, grain, and accounting. The first scribe. Every tablet IS a record. The invention of writing IS the Seshat function.
